1. In order to watch the CGYNET live streaming, please make sure your computer is compatible with our system and you can watch the DEMO showcase below.
2. For the first time installation, your browser will detect automatically and install the plugin. If NOT, you need to download and install CGYNET plugin manually. Please follow all the instructions.
3. Use Speedtest.net to test the speed of your Internet connection. Results below 356kbps, is not advisable to use our live streaming but you still can streaming with low quality with minimum speed below 256kbps.

CGYNET works with Windows Vista Windows XP, Windows Server 2003 and Windows 2000


Easy setup procedure:

1. Download and run the .exe file.

2. Accept the Octoshape EULA to complete the installation procedure. The plug-in should launch upon completion. If not, you can launch it from your start menu.

3. Once the installation is complete the Octoshape icon will appear.

CGYNET requires libcrypto.so.0.9.8 which is part of openssl-0.9.8, and an http-enabled media player (mplayer or similar)


Easy setup procedure:

1. Download the .bin file and make it executable with the command chmod +x octosetup-linux_i386.bin Execute ./octosetup-linux_i386.bin and follow the installation instructions.

2. Navigate to the Showcase page, pick All streams, and copy the link from the "Play" column. Pass the link as the –url:octoshape:xxx.yyy argument to OctoshapeClient like this:
"./OctoshapeClient -url:octoshape:DR.p3"

3. A media player will launch playing the link you used with the –url argument. Default player is mplayer, if you wish to have a different player as default then please consult the Linux FAQ

CGYNET is a Universal binary that runs on both Power PC and Intel based Macs with OS X 10.4 (Tiger) or later.


Easy setup procedure:

1. Download the .dmg file. It should mount and launch the installer automatically. If not, mount the image and launch the contained installer.

2. Accept the Octoshape EULA to complete the installation procedure. The plug-in should launch upon completion. If not, you can launch it from your home directory.

3. Once the installation is complete the Octoshape icon will appear.

** After each installation of the plug-in, please close and restart you internet browser. If the player tooks 1-2 minutes to loading, press F5 at keyboard or refresh the Internet screen browser.
